International Women
The International Women’s group started in 1967 as the International Wives group.
Their focus was on helping international women make friends and adjust to the United States and to Washington University.
Club members would organize events to get the women and their children into the city to experience a wide variety of activities. They would also arrange activities that allowed the international women to share their culture with the other Club members.
The group continues today with events such as Easter and Christmas parties, visiting Eckert’s farm, pumpkin carving, learning origami, dinners with international foods, and more.
